Discover Jewish Orlando( DJO) is a campaign in which to increase community membership through marketing efforts. The campaign focuses on presenting the benefits of Orlando life to potential candidates who currently live outside of Orlando and are looking to relocate to another city. As part of the DJO campaign, the OCJD has marketed to several different groups including, medical students, law students, residency and fellowship seekers, business owners and many others.
Part of the DJO campaign included showcasing Orlando at the OU’s Emerging Communities Conference and Jobs Fair in NYC. The conference is designed for those looking to relocate to learn about other communities and because of the efforts of the OCJD, Orlando was one of the communities being represented at this fair. The OCJD had put together a customized booth, marketing collateral and representatives to showcase Orlando to the 2000 attendees of this conference.
